STILLMERE

Legal

Terms

Simple, fair terms for a personal service. In plain language, so you know exactly where you stand.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

What we provide

STILLMERE creates bespoke digital memorials for pets: memorial films, memorial websites, and a bundle of both. Each one is made by hand, individually, for one pet.

Because every memorial is bespoke, what you receive will differ from what appears on this website. The examples shown are illustrations of our approach, not a fixed product.

Your materials

The photographs, videos and stories you send us remain yours. We claim no ownership over them.

By sending them, you confirm you have the right to share them with us — for example, that you took the photographs or have the permission of whoever did, and of anyone recognisable in them.

Our work

Once delivered, you are free to keep, download, share and display your memorial for personal, non-commercial use.

We will not use your memorial, your pet's photographs or their name publicly without your written consent. If we ever ask and you agree, you can withdraw that consent at any time and we will remove it.

Timelines

A memorial film is typically delivered within 5–7 days of receiving your materials; a memorial website typically within 7–10 days. We confirm a timeline with you before starting.

We are a small studio, so timelines are estimates made in good faith rather than contractual deadlines. If something will take longer, we will tell you.

Revisions

Each memorial includes one round of revisions. We want it to be right.

If a revision request amounts to starting over with a materially different direction, we may treat it as new work and discuss the cost with you first.

Hosting of memorial websites

Memorial websites are hosted and kept online for you. If a website ever needs to move servers or change address, we will tell you in advance and give you a copy.

We reserve the right to suspend a memorial if it is used unlawfully, or if it is needed to protect the service or other clients.

Acceptable use

Please only send us material you have the right to use. We may decline a commission — and refund it — if the material appears to be someone else's, or if a request is outside what we can do with care.

Limits of our responsibility

We take real care with your materials, and we recommend you keep your own copies of everything you send us.

To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for the memorial concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Changes apply to new commissions, not to memorials already delivered.
